Global Themes, Local Community - Columbus International High School Residency Street Art Project

Columbus International High School students created a wheat paste mural with Columbus based artist Stephanie Rond. In support of CIHS's focus on international education students explored 8 global themes relevant to the human experience:

  1. Food & Shelter
  2.  Mind & Body
  3. Mortality
  4. Gender, Race & Class
  5. Power, Politics, War & Peace
  6. Social Protest
  7. Nature, Knowledge & Technology
  8. Entertainment & Visual Culture.

Students worked with Rond to collaboratively design visual messages depicting how the global themes connect with their community.
